Data Deletion Instructions — Matajer AI Ads
This page explains how a business that connected its Meta, TikTok or Snapchat assets to Matajer AI can have that data deleted.
Meta – Option 1: Remove the app in Meta (automatic)
- Open Meta Business Settings (business.facebook.com/settings).
- Go to Integrations > Connected apps.
- Select Matajer AI Ads and choose Remove.
Removing the app stops our access to your Meta assets immediately. To make sure the Meta data we stored is deleted, also use Option 2 or Option 3 below. We delete it within 30 days and confirm the deletion to you by email.
Meta – Option 2: Disconnect in Matajer AI
In your Advertising Center choose Disconnect on the Meta connection. The token is revoked from our side, and the data is deleted within 30 days. We confirm the deletion by email to the account owner.
Meta – Option 3: Email us
Send to privacy@matajerai.ae from an authorised address, with your business name, your Meta Business portfolio ID and the subject "Meta data deletion". We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm it by email.
What is deleted (Meta)
Access tokens, the list of connected ad accounts, Pages, Instagram accounts and pixels, cached insights and spend, webhook records and media we uploaded on your behalf for Meta ads.
TikTok – Option 1: Remove the authorization in TikTok For Business
- Open https://ads.tiktok.com/ac/page/authorizations while logged in to TikTok For Business.
- Find Matajer AI Ads.
- Choose Remove.
Our access stops immediately. Our systems detect the removal within 24 hours and delete the TikTok data of that connection within 30 days.
TikTok – Option 2: Disconnect in Matajer AI
In your Advertising Center choose Disconnect on the TikTok connection. We revoke the token from our side and delete the data within 30 days. We confirm the deletion by email to the account owner.
TikTok – Option 3: Email us
Send to privacy@matajerai.ae from an authorised address, with your business name, your TikTok ad account ID(s) and the subject "TikTok data deletion". We confirm receipt within 3 business days, complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm it by email.
What is deleted (TikTok)
The access token, the list of connected ad accounts and Business Centers, cached reports and spend, ad review notifications, pixel links and media we uploaded on your behalf for TikTok ads.
Snapchat – Option 1: Remove the app in your Snapchat account
- Open https://accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/oauth2/apps while logged in to the Snapchat account that connected.
- Find Matajer AI Ads.
- Delete it from the list.
Our access stops at the next token refresh (within one hour). Our systems detect the removal within 24 hours and delete the Snapchat data of that connection within 30 days.
Snapchat – Option 2: Disconnect in Matajer AI
In your Advertising Center choose Disconnect on the Snapchat connection. We delete the tokens on our side and delete the data within 30 days. We confirm the deletion by email to the account owner.
Snapchat – Option 3: Email us
Send to privacy@matajerai.ae from an authorised address, with your business name, your Snap organization or ad account ID(s) and the subject "Snapchat data deletion". We confirm receipt within 3 business days, complete deletion within 30 days, then confirm it by email.
What is deleted (Snapchat)
The access and refresh tokens, the list of connected organizations and ad accounts, cached reports and spend, pixel links and media we uploaded on your behalf for Snapchat ads. Snapchat data is never kept longer than 36 months in any case.
What may be kept
Records we must keep by UAE law (such as invoices), only for the legal period. Deleting data in Matajer AI does not delete the campaigns or ads inside your own Meta, TikTok or Snapchat ad accounts; manage those in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager or Snapchat Ads Manager.
